Salary adjustments & your pension

As you may be aware, Bill 124 was repealed on February 24th, 2024 by the Government of Ontario. OPB will be working closely with your employer to receive updated salary information for employees that may be impacted. This may include additional pension contributions for any retroactive wage adjustments.

If you are still working, you will be able to see the impact of these changes by using our pension estimator on OPB e-services(opens in a new tab) after the retroactive adjustments are reported.

If you are retired, OPB will contact you if a recalculation of pension benefits is required.
